Drone/ Ambient artist from Chicago, Il, now based in Montreal, QC. From a very young age, Catherine Hastings has been interested in sonic art and tape manipulation. Making her first composition at age 16 on an old reel-to-reel, she is now using computers to loop and distort media as well as adding new instrumentation. She is also a multi-instrumentist, playing piano, guitar and saxophone.
